  We stopped off for dinner on a Sunday night on our way back from Victoria to Nanaimo, to have dinner. The atmosphere was pleasant and the out door patio had an amazing ocean, mountain view.
  The only issue we had was how long we waited for our food; our server said they had a very small kitchen and was unusually busy but we waited for over 45 mins for our starters and then another 40 mins for our main courses( 4 people).
  While the food was great with good potions and very tasty there was small mistakes on our orders. The server was great about it and discounted our food and apologized, would go back .

  Nice discovery while on a motorcycle cruise.
  Fantastic views. Good cold draft. Haven't had food yet but it looked good going by. Nice back roads to cruise in the area. Then head for the Crow & Gate.

  This is my second visit, I enjoyed the mushroom bacon burger and my wife had a chicken caesar wrap that was excellent, I only give it three stars because the service this time was really flaky, our waitress didn't bother bringing utensils, I got them myself and she saw me get them with no comment, offered a coffee refill then completely forgot to bring it because she was too busy flirting at the bar with another customer, The table next to us seemed to wait forever just to get their order taken and then she charged us for for three meals when we had two. We had a different waitress the first time and she was excellent..... the food is good but you take a chance with the service.
